While being cloistered in Manila has its unique perks, metro residents now find themselves packing their bags and heading outside the city walls.
In the face of choking pollution and stress, parents looking to raise healthy kids are turning in their urban addresses. Many have sought refuge in the unrestrained domains of the South that foster a tightly knit family life amid the great outdoors.
Making the transition to Southern suburban life easier for Filipino families is Alveo Land, an Ayala Land company that is developing two of the most exciting residential projects in the South: Treveia and Verdana. In order to showcase their ideal homes set in scenic natural surroundings, Treveia and Verdana recently held the Out in the South festivity at the Alabang Town Center activity area.
Out in the South guests discovered the eco-friendly ideals of Treveia by playing a snakes and ladder game. Participants used a giant dice and floor board in racing to the finish square. Along the way, they were blocked by “snakes” representing the negative impacts of pollution to the family, and helped by “ladders” representing the environmental benefits of the Treveia lifestyle.
“The snakes and ladders game demonstrates how pollution destroys the health and productivity of a Filipino home, and how Treveia acts as a modern respite from these environmental woes,” says Eunice Acejo, division head for marketing of Alveo Land.
