New York-inspired

Everyday, from sunrise to the next dawn, Manhattan in New York City hosts a flurry of activities as "The city that never sleeps." People walk at every corner to embark at the nearest subway station. Men and women go in and out of restaurants. Shoppers flock to the mecca of Fifth Avenue, while those who want to spend time alone or with their family members troop to Central Park.

This scenario will soon be emulated right here at the very heart of Metro Manila within the Araneta Center — the country’s very first lifestyle and leisure center. Five hectares of this 35-hectare prime property will soon transform into Manhattan Garden City.

Going by this new city’s very auspicious name, top developer Megaworld Corporation planned and designed its towers to reflect the characteristics that make Manhattan renowned the world over. Manhattan Garden City’s first phase, the three-tower Manhattan Parkway Residence, features curvilinear roofs that give a distinctive look to the new skyline and give it a more dynamic silhouette. Its colors are warm and striking to reflect the upbeat character of the new Araneta Center, Megaworld Central Properties Inc. president Anthony Charlemagne Yu shared.

As to planning this new city, "The major elements we considered are connectivity, transit access, community integration and urban transformation," he narrated.

Foot bridges connect the residents of all the residential towers of Manhattan Garden City to one another and to the area’s main transit terminals — the LRT2 and MRT3 stations. This makes Manhattan Garden City the first and only transit-oriented development in the country that boasts of direct connection to the two transit systems, thus making going around the metro a breeze for residents.

A garden setting at the podium deck provides a nature-centered amenity area that serves as a communal space for residents. This becomes their "Central Park," where neighbors can exchange pleasant stories and children can make friends. They have many activities to choose from: swimming at the lap pool, reading at the benches, jogging at the winding paths, or billiards at the game room.

Investors and homebuyers can check out the Manhattan Garden City showroom at the 3rd level of Gateway Mall or call 810-3333 or email inquire@themanhattangardencity.com for a viewing appointment.
