To be held at the World Trade Center from March 31 to April 3 next year, the four-day event aims to create public awareness of current trends in the construction and real estate industry and to provide a convenient venue for showcasing the latest product lines.
Organized by the UAP to coincide with its 31st National Convention on the same dates, CONEX 2005 was conceptualized to develop an appropriate market setting to enhance sales productivity, open opportunities for public interaction, forge and renew client contacts, generate marker presence, launch new products, disseminate information, ascertain client needs, influence client decision-making and close deals.
To date, the exhibit has become the buzzword in the industry and has been generating positive feedback from construction suppliers. Although the even had enjoyed a steady stream of supporters from the past few years, this year marks the CONEXs major leap in terms of its choice of venue and its expected number of participants.
So far, CONEXs active participants through the years have noted a significant boost in their marketing strength. By gaining access to first-hand information and the free flow of ideas, they become better armed as they get to hone their competitive edge and throw their gates wide open to newer technical innovations.
Optimistic with this years expected turnout, the UAP organizers have allotted 400 booths divided into two major zones. "We are looking forward to a well-attended convention this year," exclaims UAPs executive director for the Commission on Convention and Conferences Arch. Alejandro O. Cua. "Thas why weve deliberately timed it to be held in conjunction with the UAPs 31st National Convention, where we expect to be visited by more than 1,500 architects and by even some foreign architects and members of the allied professions. We can give a better alternative for channeling companies marketing plans since UAP is an event manager of 30 Natcon Exhibits and 12 NCA Exhibits.
With ample time to mount their biggest trade fair to date, the UAP board of directors are pulling no stops in ensuring the events success. "Through the help of our media allies, we are looking forward to massive word-of-mouth promotions for the CONEX," Cua reiterates.
Living up to its renewed commitment for professionalism, the UAP Board of Directors has envisioned CONEXs globalization through the implementation of comprehensive marketing solutions to the construction community.
