MANILA, Philippines - Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) appointed the Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology (TMP Tech) as its sixth partner school under the Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP). In a ceremony held recently, TMP and TMP Tech signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to formalize the partnership under the global program of its mother company, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in Japan.

Under the program, TMC provides hi-tech training packages to all partner institutions while TMP provides additional training materials, support activities, and training for instructors and selected T-TEP graduates. Aside from TMP Tech, there are five other T-TEP partner schools in the country — three in Metro Manila, one in the Visayas, and one in Mindanao. The T-TEP plays a significant role in the Toyota Human Resources Development System by promoting recruitment, training and certification to produce the best Toyota after-sales technicians.
