MANILA, Philippines - Ford Philippines continues its aggressive growth in the Philippine market with the official inauguration of Makati Ford last week. Located in Pasong Tamo in Makati City (across CW Home Depot), Makati Ford sits on a 2,500 square-meter land area and has a total dealership area of 1,500 square-meters. Inside its premises, Makati Ford boasts of a 9-vehicle showroom and a 30-vehicle service capacity thanks to its 12 service bays.
Matt Bradley, president, Ford ASEAN and Randy Krieger, president, Ford Philippines joined Ford’s dealer principals to help celebrate the milestone. Former President Fidel V. Ramos and Makati Mayor Jun-Jun Binay were the guests of honor in cutting the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the showroom.

Makati Ford is the second dealership under the ECY Group to feature the Brand@Retail II concept (the first being Ford Cainta). Under this new dealership concept, Ford aims to emphasize the company’s 4 brand pillars: Quality, Green, Safe, and Smart and mold it into the physical space of a showroom. Among Makati Ford’s design highlights include the use of light-color palettes with Ford blue accentuations as well as the use of energy efficient LED lighting.

Since the inauguration of Ford Cainta in October of last year, Ford has opened dealerships in Butuan, Naga, Tarlac, and Isabela. Over the next 6 months, Ford will also be establishing dealerships in Bohol, General Santos, Laoag, Zamboanga, Manila Bay, and Baguio.
