TRS is looking for racer chicks!

MANILA, Philippines - Tuason Racing School is looking for ladies, ages 18 and above with aspirations of being a race car driver. The C! Top Driver Challenge: Racer Chick Edition is now on. The winner of the search will be receiving a one weekend scholarship to race the TRS Cup powered by the Ford Fiesta, a grass roots circuit car program that aims to provide the racing enthusiast a cost effective entry point into racing. The program is presented by Castrol, Bridgestone, Standard Insurance, Ford Alabang and is supported by Coke Zero, Smart Bro and Smart Netphone, OMP, Hafelle; official partners, Rota Wheels, Belo Men, OMP, Uboat, Oakley, Starbright bodykits, Speedlab, Hastravel.com and with media partners C! Magazine, Manila Bulletin, Stoplight TV.

Interested participants must register either on the TRS fan page or at www.tuasonracing.com/blog. The semifinal round, which will pit participants against each other on the TRS Racing Simulator, will be held on September 29 at 7PM at Resorts World. The top six finalists will undergo training and will have to go through a time trial challenge on October 2 at Clark International Speedway.

Other prizes at stake are a P20K package worth of prizes from Oakley, a two-page feature spread in C! Magazine, giftpacks from Bedhead and OMP Race Gear plus the status of the next racer to watch. “We would like to extend the chance to be champions to female enthusiasts this year. TDC has been providing racing enthusiast a chance to become professional race car drivers for nine years and the program has produced some of the best racers of their generation,” quipped JP Tuason, TRS founder and president.
