Forging stronger Philippine-British ties

AS A CONTINUING INITIATIVE OF promoting high-value Philippine invest- ment and project opportunities to British companies and enterprises located and based in Hong Kong, the Philippine British Business Council (PBBC), in partnership with the British Embassy in Manila and the UK Trade and Investment Centre, held the Philippine Infrastructure and Private-Public Partnership (PPP) Roadshow in the said country. PBBC co-chairman ambassador Jesus “Chuching” Tambunting, who also led Philippine business delegation, was in- charge of all the activities during the two- day event. The roadshow also focused on facilitating partnerships and collaboration with the Hong Kong-based British private sector and Philippine companies and ex- ploring other market ventures for trade. EMotors Inc. bags notable award the country’s first and only 100-percent

Filipino-owned assembler/manufacturer of zero-emission, electric 3-wheeled vehicles EMotors Inc., under the leadership of founding director Helen Lee and president and CEO Beth Lee, was named the Green Company of the Year at the Asia CEO Awards 2015 held at the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City. EMotors Inc. demonstrated strong leadership and participation in sustainability and environmental protection programs initiatives in Philippines.
