Do you want to become a flight attendant?

The demand for airline professionals around the world, particularly in Asia and the Middle East, makes the industry more vibrant than ever. As a result, lucrative opportunities and rapid career growth await pilots, flight attendants and aircraft mechanics.

In fact, according to Carmelita Guiao, directress of the WCC Flight Attendant School, a local airline is now on a massive recruitment program to hire about 300 flight attendants who can serve in their increasing flights for various routes nationwide and in the region.

The WCC Flight Attendant School presently offers a well-planned 45-day training course that teaches students about the skills required from today’s flight attendants. According to Guiao, the course is comparable to the training conducted by the airlines for their crew of flight attendants.

The flight attendant training course consists of five modules that deal extensively with various aspects, such as personality development and image enhancement. Aircraft basics are also taught. Students are likewise required to undergo land and water drills and different emergency procedures.

“At WCC Flight Attendant School, we strive to offer the best education that is at par with the best. Our instructors are experts in their field. We also maintain a small class with a maximum of 25 students, to maintain the effectivity and quality of instruction,” Guiao stressed.

“What elevates WCC from others is that we are part of a credible institution – the WCC Aviation Company which has its own airport in Binalonan, Pangasinan. That gives us the integrity, legality and credibility,” she said.

For Guiao, a successful flight attendant herself who has worked at a top international airline for 14 years, her only goal is to help her students fulfill their dreams. “I want them to become flight attendants. I want to see them fly.”

The WCC Flight Attendant School is located at Unit 104 G/F AIC Gold Tower, F. Ortigas Ave., cor. Garnet Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. For more information, call 687-5790/ 0929-5918304 or e-mail: flightattendant@wccaviation.com. You may also visit the Web site at www.wccaviation.com.
