Mindanao-wide call center school expands nationwide

A Mindanao-wide call center school chain is expanding to Northern Philippines in a bid to establish its presence nationwide.

Already operating also in Metro Manila, JIB eAcademy is branching out further in Luzon, particularly Urdaneta in Pangasinan and Vigan in Ilocos Sur, thus making it the biggest call center school with the widest network of partners and industry-validated curriculum.

The expansion was announced by JIB eAcademy president Joji Ilagan-Bian, a business and civic leader and an educator, citing the school’s branches in Davao, Manila, General Santos, Butuan, Surigao, Iloilo, Zamboanga, Marawi, and soon in Northern Luzon provinces of Ilocos Sur and Pangasinan.

“Also an English school, JIB eAcademy offers lucrative employment to students after finishing 20 days of training at four hours a day,” Bian said.

“Our school has forged partnerships with the biggest call centers in Manila, indicating the excellent quality of our facilities, curriculum and its graduates,” Bian added, referring to industry leaders Advanced Contact Solutions, Teletech, Teleperformance, Sykes, E-Telecare, Ventus, and Viventis, including small but prestigious players among others.

Just recently, JIB eAcademy has concluded its curriculum upgrading workshop in Cebu for teachers and trainers.

“The workshop is part of our efforts to ensure that the quality of our training really meets the actual demands of the big call centers,” Bian pointed out.

“And to support our training course, we are now introducing SPEECHworks in all our centers. This is a program geared for self-improvement in speech, focusing on pronunciation and articulation that you don’t really get to learn in traditional schools,” Bian explained.

SPEECHworks, according to Bian, will distinguish JIB eAcademy from other speech schools.

“It (SPEECHworks) highlights our focus and competence in teaching people how to improve their manner of communication delivery. The end-goal is to really build confidence so that one becomes socially and professionally successful in contact center, business process outsourcing and other careers,” Bian added.

More information can be obtained from JIB eAcademy’s main branches at Mabini St, Davao City (tel. 082-3055522) and at E.Rodriguez Jr. Avenue, Libis, Quezon City (tel. 02-6314540)

Accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the school chain is owned and operated by the Joji Ilagan Career Center Foundation Inc.

This two-year course will enable graduates to migrate to Australia and land on high-paying jobs in the culinary and other related sectors of the hospitality industry.
