MB launches core banking software for rural banks

MANILA, Philippines - MB Philippines had launched Express-O core banking system, a strong and scalable software ideal for rural banking settings utilizing Java, Glassfish SQL and Jasper programming languages for greater scalability.

MB Philippines president Senen Glorioso said Express-O complies with the regulatory requirements of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), and the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC).

“Because Express-O is a web-based core banking system, banking operations and interbranch transactions can be processed immediately and KPI monitoring can be done in real-time,” Glorioso said.

He said that the software empower banks to create product-on-demand that increases profitability.

It also has the capability to expand customer information to mitigate risks.

Setting up of additional branches and maintenance of the system is faster with Express-O in the event of merger and consolidation where fast integration and additional maintenance is a requisite.

Another critical advantage is that being a locally-developed software, the price is extremely competitive compared to international software providers in the market.

MB Philippines has been in the business of serving the rural bank and microfinance industry for the past 25 years.

Its pool of homegrown developers and business relationship personnel assures customers with reliable service delivery without any language barriers.
