MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Prudential Life Insurance Co. Inc. (Philippine Prudential) turned over recently a death claim to the family of an overseas Filipino worker who passed away while abroad. The insured had purchased a LABB Plus product, an affordable yearly renewable term insurance, at one of the company’s retail sales offices in 2012. Since its establishment in 1963, Philippine Prudential paid out a total of P164 million in claims — a testament to its continued capability to meet its financial obligations to its policyholders, now totaling over 1.8 million.
