MANILA, Philippines - The Planters Development Bank (Plantersbank) has launched the SME Speaker Series in Davao City with no less than renowned motivational speaker and business guru Francis J. Kong as guest lecturer. The series tackles business values that can help guide entrepreneurs in making their business grow and prosper. It also hopes to advocate good governance in business, thus the theme, “SME Ethics: Adding Values to your Business. “We believe that if we can eliminate opportunities for corruption, our SMEs can benefit a lot because this could mean greater productivity and long term-financial gains,” Ambassador Jesus P. Tambunting, Plantersbank chairman and president, said. In line with the bank’s advocacy of enabling entrepreneurs, the SME Speaker Series was conceptualized by Plantersbank to provide Filipino entrepreneurs with a venue where they can learn and get ideas on how to better manage their business.
