AIG Money Tree is a single-pay US dollar-denominated variable life insurance product that combines high potential returns with guaranteed lifetime insurance coverage. It aims to increase a client’s earning potential by investing in a wide range of dollar-denominated local and global funds.
For a minimum investment of $2,000, a client can choose from three investment funds. They are: the Philamlife Dollar Bond Fund, which invests in dollar-denominated fixed income securities issued by the Philippine government and reputable Philippine corporations; Philamlife Global Fund, which places funds in quality global investment instruments such as foreign sovereign bonds, foreign corporate bonds and foreign fixed income funds; or, Philamlife Global Equity Fund, which invests in a portfolio of predominantly growth companies and appropriate value stocks from global markets.
Investments in AIG Money Tree can be increased anytime through additional investments called top-ups, or switched from one fund to another. A client also has convenient access to his investment through partial or full withdrawals of his account value.
Milestones offers whole-life insurance coverage and acts as a savings plan. It’s a five-pay plan that provides increasing life insurance coverage: 100-percent of the original face amount on its first year; 150-percent on its second year; and 200-percent on its third year up to age 100.
Milestones is packaged with Milestones Treasure, a benefit that provides additional insurance coverage and guaranteed cash benefits every two years, starting at the end of the fifth policy year, until the age of 65.
On top of the guaranteed cash benefits, Milestones and Milestones Treasure each provide cash dividends that can be used as a substantial retirement fund or accumulated to fund a child’s education. Or as the name suggests, it can be used to celebrate life’s hallmark events, such as anniversaries, graduations, weddings, and baptisms.
Like the AIG Money Tree, Milestones offers added health and disability benefits and accident insurance coverage up to age 72. With all the fringe benefits in an attractive limited pay period, Milestone is designed to answer most insurance needs.
