Verbena Capitol Suites, a decent home for traveling businessmen located at the heart of Cebu City, recently had its water heating system installed by Jett Water Heater Co., Inc.
Designed to be cost-effective, energy saving and environment-friendly, the water heating system makes use of “waste heat” coming from the hotel’s air conditioning unit to heat the water for the hot shower.
Called Jett aircon water heater, the system practically uses the same electricity that runs the air conditioning unit to heat the water. This innovative water heating system reduces the hotel’s electrical consumption for water heating by as much as 90 percent and at the same time, improves the condensing efficiency of the air conditioning unit.
Verbena Capitol Suites is one of the first hotels in Cebu City to have a water heating system that doubles the function of the air conditioning unit – it “cools” the room and at the same time “heats” up the water for the hot shower.
Ting Urgello, the hotel’s owner, expressed satisfaction with the performance of the heating system, saying it is in keeping with their company’s program of energy conservation.
