BPI Director Blo Umpar Adiong said the celebrations will include a tiangge, fair and photo exhibits, which document the bureaus projects and achievements in the year 2001.
Adiong said the celebration on Monday will begin with a thanksgiving mass followed by cutting of the ceremonial ribbon which will open the agri-fair, tiangge and exhibits to the public. A program will follow during which outstanding men and women who excelled and showed exemplary devotion to their work and obligations will be honored.
Adiong said this years celebrations is themed Gawain: Makabagong Adhikain sa Paghahalaman para sa Pagkakaisa at Pagkakaunawaan (GMA-PPP) which aptly says the bureaus directions in the years to come.
He said the BPI believes that with new technologies, they can turn Mindanao into a bountiful and progressive agricultural island.
