LTO-7 personnel trained on digital tools, customer service
CEBU, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office Regional Office (LTO)-7 strengthened the capabilities of its personnel through separate training activities on digital government tools and frontline customer service last Wednesday, September 23.
LTO-7 partnered with the Department of Information and Communications Technology for training on the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) digital signature and the eGovPH Super App.
The activity equipped LTO-7 officials and Transportation Regulation Officers with knowledge and practical skills in using digital tools to support secure, accessible and technology-driven government services.
Participants also underwent hands-on exercises on the PNPKI and eGovPH Super App to familiarize them with the application of digital solutions in their daily operations.
On the same day, LTO-7 also conducted its Frontline Customer Service: Basic Skills and Techniques training for Public Assistance and Complaints Desk (PACD) officers.
The training focused on strengthening the officers’ professionalism, responsiveness, and service-oriented attitude in dealing with clients, particularly in handling concerns and complaints.
Drills and practical exercises were conducted to help PACD officers apply appropriate techniques in various customer service situations while ensuring that clients are treated courteously and given timely assistance.
The initiatives support LTO-7’s commitment to Ease of Doing Business by improving both the digital capabilities and frontline service skills of its personnel.
LTO-7 said it will continue to pursue capacity-building activities to promote professionalism, accountability and efficient, secure, and client-centered public service. — (FREEMAN)
