Rose Simpson, luhaan sa Miss World!

Bigong masungkit ni Miss Philippines Asia Rose Simpson ang korona sa Miss World 2026 na idinaos sa April 2nd Square sa Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa, Vietnam noong Sept. 5.

Nakapasok si Simpson sa Top 12 finalists ngunit hindi napili sa Top 6 na kakatawan sa Asia at Oceania.

Ang nagwagi ay si Miss Dominican Republic Joheirry Mola Dominguez, nagtapos ng Business Management and Administration sa Universidad Iberoamericana, at tagapagtatag at pangulo ng Voices of Tomorrow na naglalayong palawakin ang pagtuturo ng Ingles sa mga kabataan mula sa vulnerable communities. Nagtuturo rin siya ng Literature at Social Studies sa wikang Ingles at nagsisilbing correspondent para sa Ventana a Quisqueya ng Univision New York.

Itinanghal namang 1st runner-up si Miss Spain Elisabeth Reynés at 2nd runner-up si Miss Malaysia Taanusiya Chetty.

Richard Yap, mas nagka-oras na sa pamilya

Sa tagal na nag-aartista si Richard Yap, alam niya kung paano i-manage ang mga kinita niya sa mga naging TV at film projects niya.

Palibhasa ay galing sa pamilya na may alam sa pagtayo ng business, kaya nagbukas ng kanyang sariling negosyo ang aktor.

Alam din ni Richard ang puwedeng risks sa pagkakaroon ng sariling business. “Most of what I earn, I really put in the business. I partnered with others for my restaurant and then I opened my own office furniture business.

“But having a business is tough. Sometimes, you constantly have to put money into it so you also need to know which ventures to invest in and which ones not to because you can lose your earnings.”

Pati raw mga anak niya ay namana rin ang pagiging negosyante. “My daughter is also a businessman but she’s more of an influencer, content creator and she became No. 1 affiliate for a brand.”

Ngayon daw at hindi siya masyadong busy sa paggawa ng teleserye, mas manageable na raw ang oras niya kumpara noong ginagawa niya ang Be Careful With My Heart na halos wala siyang panahon sa sarili niyang pamilya.

Huling napanood si Richard sa Kapuso action-serye na Never Say Die.

Katie, nilantad ang relasyon sa artist!

Ginawang Instagram official ni Katie Holmes ang relationship niya sa artist na si Jason Bard Yarmosky.

Nagsimula ang dating rumors ng dalawa last July noong makita silang holding hands sa East Hampton screening ng pelikulang The Invite.

Ayon sa People: “He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing. They seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night. They sat together during the movie. She had her head on his shoulder at one point. They looked very cute.”

Katie and Jason met at a Tribute Film Festival dinner in June.

A source claims: “They went on a date shortly after and she finds him interesting. Katie has always been drawn to people who are creative. She loves being around people who are passionate about what they do. She enjoys learning and experiencing new things.”
