MANILA, Philippines — The Center for Global Best Practices will host a two-session MCLE-accredited online training titled “Best Practices Guide to Construction Law and Crafting Contracts” on March 13 and 14 via Zoom.

Language is everything. Costly litigation could be avoided when the parties have a well-crafted and comprehensively defined construction contract. This comprehensive program is designed to navigate you in perfecting that contract from bidding or negotiation, pre-construction to completion and project turnover. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to the construction industry, this training will surely benefit you.

This program will feature CGBP course director and lecturer Atty. Allesandra Fay Albarico, a private practitioner, trained arbitrator and associate professor of law. She was the regulatory legal head of Global Business Power, head of the legal department of ISOC Holdings Inc. and all its subsidiaries, corporate information officer and chief compliance officer of publicly listed Ferronoux Holdings Inc. She was also the former legal counsel of Megawide Construction Corp. and corporate legal head of Citicore Power, Inc. where she was in-charge of reviewing and drafting of contracts, transaction documents and deeds among many others. She is also the author of the book, Philippine Regulation of the Third Party Funding in International Arbitration.
