MANILA, Philippines — Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) is expanding its footprint by putting up a branch in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
The automotive firm said it chose Dasmariñas City for its dealership as the location serves as a gateway to Metro Manila and the Calabarzon (Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon) economic growth corridor.
The area has also attracted many businesses.
Automotive Dealership Inc. (IADI) – wholly owned by Ayala Automotive Holdings Corp. – will handle the operations of the Isuzu Dasmariñas branch.
IADI operates two Isuzu dealerships in Cavite, with one in Bacoor and another in Imus.
“However, the operations of the latter will be transferred to Isuzu Dasmariñas as soon as it becomes fully operational in fourth quarter 2022,” IPC said.
IADI chief operating officer Alex Paguio said the Isuzu Dasmariñas dealership would have a showroom that can accommodate three units on display, as well as feature a customer lounge, service reception, parts, and accessories area.
The dealership’s service workshop will have six light commercial vehicle service bays and one commercial vehicle service bay.
“Putting up Isuzu Dasmariñas is our way to bring our dealerships closer and provide convenience to our valued customers. This will also further solidify the Isuzu network in the country,” Paguio said.
IPC president Hajime Koso said the Isuzu Dasmariñas would be compliant with the Isuzu Outlet Standard for dealerships.
Koso said the new dealership would also be capable of providing service to all Isuzu products from the D-MAX to the heavy-duty trucks.
