Kia to open new Cavite dealership

MANILA, Philippines — Kia Philippines is set to open a new dealership in Cavite by the third quarter of this year to further expand its footprint nationwide.

The automotive firm said it broke ground for its new dealership located along Bacoor Boulevard (formerly Molino Boulevard) in Bacoor City, Cavite last March 17.

Kia Philippines said the dealership is expected to be fully operational by the third quarter of this year. It will be the fifth branch to be managed by Iconic Dealership Inc.and Kia Philippines’ 43rd.

Bacoor, which is Cavite’s second largest city, is a premiere business hub south of Metro Manila.

“The area is rapidly shifting from a largely agricultural community to a residential and commercial urban center. This makes it the ideal location for a new Kia dealership where buyers will certainly find the perfect Kia vehicle to suit their needs and lifestyle,” the automotive firm said.

Once completed, the dealership will offer vehicles for sale, as well as services, and spare parts.

Earlier, Kia Philippines said it aims to expand and bring its total dealership count to 46 this year from 39 last year.

The company is also giving its dealerships a new look to reflect the new Kia brand’s philosophy of “Movement that inspires.”

For this year, Kia Philippines is aiming to sell a total of 6,000 units after disposing 3,748 units last year.

Kia Philippines president Manny Aligada earlier said this year’s sales are expected to be driven by three key vehicle models such as the Stonic, Soluto and K2500.
