MANILA, Philippines — Online hotel management and booking platform RedDoorz is expanding its accommodation offering through the addition of a new brand to cater to local travel demand with the reopening of the economy.
In a statement, RedDoorz said Sans Hotel is now ready to serve travelers in Manila and would open soon in Tagaytay City and Cebu City.
The new hotel brand is targeted for Gen Zs and millennials who want a safe travel experience at a low cost, as RedDoorz aims to become a multi-brand accommodation platform.
“We are excited to grow with local hotel players in high demand cities for the new customer segment - the younger sector who are eager to go out and explore not only for staycations, but even for any kind of safe travels,” RedDoorz Philippines country manager Miguel Capistrano said.
Amid the pandemic, he said RedDoorz assures the public of strict implementation of hygiene and sanitation practices in the properties.
Both RedDoorz and the Department of Tourism (DOT) anticipate strong local travel demand as the economy reopens.
“Since the start of the pandemic, we’ve been working closely with hotels like RedDoorz in driving better business operations for safe and fun domestic travels across the country. The firm has definitely taken advantage of the benefits and opportunities from the DOT’s accreditation requirements in order to meet new customer requirements and demands and new travel experiences. With their growing accredited Sans Hotels, we are delighted to witness broader opportunities for hotel owners to weather this pandemic,” DOT director Virgilio Maguigad said.
