MANILA, Philippines — Anchor Land, a listed property developer, has expanded further its residential footprint in Binondo.
The company broke ground on One Legacy Grandsuites, a 69-story residential development on Benavidez Street in Binondo, said to be the world’s oldest Chinatown.
Anchor Land expects P13.1 billion in revenue from the project, its 10th residential development in Binondo and the first skyscraper to rise along Benavidez Street.
One Legacy Grandsuites will offer unique collections of premium residences befitting the lifestyle needs of business owners and their families in line with the developer’s expansion in Manila Chinatown, Anchor Land’s CEO Steve Li said.
The luxury residences offer condo units with two to five bedrooms, and bi-level condo units with four to five bedrooms. Each residential floor will have only eight to 10 units, with access to seven passenger elevators and one service elevator.
The residential development is also walking distance to Soler Street where Manila Chinatown’s popular shopping centers, like 168 Shopping Mall and 999 Shopping Mall are situated, and the well-stocked and vibrant Arranque Market along Recto Ave. Moving south, Benavidez Street crosses Ongpin Street, which is the cultural and food haven of Binondo.
Li together with Anchor Land director Jason Li, Anchor Land president Elizabeth Ventura and Anchor Land AVP for Engineering Honorio Alvarez Jr. led the groundbreaking ceremony.
One Legacy Grandsuites is a development built on the values and cultures of the Chinatown community, a development where legacies are meant to be created, elevated, and passed on to many generations, officials also said.
