MANILA, Philippines — Super app Grab is looking to further bolster the network of its online food delivery platform next year following a successful first year of operation.
GrabFood Philippines head EJ dela Vega said in a briefing yesterday that the company intends to expand to at least 10 more new cities by next year.
GrabFood has already expanded in 35 cities nationwide in just the first year since its launch in the country.
“There’s no slowing down on our expansion plans for 2020
We want to continue to grow. We will continue to expand,” Dela Vega said.
Dela Vega declined to disclose yet the cities where GrabFood would be making its presence felt by next year, but cited popular cities Iloilo and Davao as possibilities.
He said among the company’s considerations in choosing new locations include market size and population density.
