MANILA, Philippines — The Manila International Airport Authority announced that several domestic flights were grounded on Monday, January 21, due to Tropical Depression Amang.
In its online advisory, the MIAA said that four flights of carrier CebGo were canceled. These flights were headed to and from Masbate and Basco, Batanes.
On Sunday evening, the tropical depression made landfall over Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte.
As of 2 p.m., Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 was raised over Sorsogon, Masbate including Ticao Island, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar, Biliran and Leyte
