MANILA, Philippines — Now on its 23rd year, the Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition or Worldbex, has begun to embark on its journey in "Shaping Innovations Toward Sustainability" as it successfully held its exhibitor’s orientation last Jan. 31 at the Hall B of the Philippine Trade Training Center.

Hosted by Worldbex Services International's associate director for special projects, Abbey Quiohilag, highlighting the program was a comprehensive discussion of what the exhibitors and participating partners need to know to ensure a smooth-sailing experience throughout the five-day expo. The discussion ranged from ingress, egress, and booth reminders, rules and regulations, program and event highlights, pocket activities, as well as important dates and schedules to remember.

As it is a significant component of all Worldbex shows, the precursory event also served as an ideal backdrop for the contract signing between WSI and this year’s roster of Worldbex sponsors which include Apo Flooring, Puyat Steel Corporation, Boysent Paint, Biowood, Firely, and Mariwasa.

Present to witness the momentous occasion were representatives from the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE), Federation of Electrical & Electronic Suppliers & Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (PESA), Philippine Association of Electrical Industries Inc. (PAEII), Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME), Philippine Hardware Foundation, and the Philippine Society of Plumbing Engineers (PSPE).

From its compelling theme that corresponds to the most pressing issues and concerns of the construction and design industry, all the way to the discernible expansion of this year’s show as attested by its record-breaking number of participants and exhibitors, Worldbex 2018 is expected to break new grounds this year.

Happening on March 14 to 18, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at three mega venues:  World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM), Philippine Trade Training Center, and SMX Convention Center, Pasay, Wordbex 2018 is the biggest construction event of the year.
