MANILA, Philippines - Crown Asia Chemicals Corp. has expanded its product line to include unplasticized polyvinyl chloride roofing to its portfolio of premium products.
In a statement, the company said the new Crown uPVC long-span and ASA (acrylic styrene acrylonitrile) type roofing materials are expected to be launched during the second half of the year.
Both have built-in UV protection while the ASA type even doubles the UV protection advantage.
The new products are useful and practical for the Philippines, which is a tropical island country, the company said.
Crown’s new products will be a welcome choice for roofing materials, the company said.
“They act as natural insulator, keep inside temperature cooler and provide adequate natural lighting, thus minimizing power consumption,” it said.
Furthermore, Crown uPVC long span roofing will be a preferred choice of discerning practitioners in the construction industry, not only for residential, but also for commercial, industrial, high rise roof toppings and peripheral structures.
The new products are environment friendly and do not corrode or rust, so they are also ideal solutions for beachfront houses and projects along coastal areas.
In addition, the company said the new products are light and easy to install and are tough against humidity.
