MANILA, Philippines - The peso rallied against the dollar on Thursday, closing at 44.85 from the previous day's 44.92.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $504 million, higher than the $375.8 million posted on Wednesday.
The peso opened Thursday at 44.88.
