MANILA, Philippines - The peso dipped by 2 centavos against the dollar on Monday, closing at 44.9 from the previous day's 44.88.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $411.9 million, lower than the $566.7 million posted on Friday.
The peso opened the week at 44.96.
