MANILA, Philippines - The peso slipped against the dollar on Wednesday, closing at 44.8 from the previous day's 44.747.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $378.5 million, lower than the $414.4 million posted on Tuesday.
The peso opened Wednesday at 44.8.
