MANILA, Philippines - The peso moved sideways against the dollar on Tuesday, improving by 3.5 centavos to close at 43.645.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $586.8 million, lower than the $644.1 million posted on Monday.
The peso opened Tuesday at 43.72.
