MANILA, Philippines - The peso gained 10 centavos against the dollar after closing at 44.4 on Monday.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $615.5 million, higher than the $513.5 million posted on Friday.
The peso opened the week at 44.45.
