MANILA, Philippines - ItalpinasEuroasian Design and Eco-Development Corp. (ITPI), the Italian-Filipino company that designs and develops sustainable properties nationwide, now affords its overseas Filipino buyers an easy way to purchase property by teaming up with Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation’s (RCBC) remittance service called RCBC Telepay.
Buyers outside the Philippines may send payments for purchased ITPIunits to through over 2,800Telepay remittance centers located across Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Europe, and the United States.
Wilfredo F. Songco, division head for Overseas Filipino Banking Group of RCBC, says security is one of the most prominent features of RCBC’s Telepay. Upon receipt of payment, RCBC will automatically send a system-generated report to ITPIcontaining the remitter’s name, payment code, amount and date of the remittance, details and address of the property unit paid for, and a reference number for the transaction. This means that payments by overseas Filipinos will be easily and safely monitored by ITPIand will automatically be reflected in the buyers’ account.
“We want our buyers to know that the money they send to pay the units gets to us. Since RCBC sends a report with every transaction, we can easily monitor payments and buyers can be assured that we know that they have paid,†explains Atty. Jose D. Leviste III, president of Italpinas.
With around 30 percent of their buyers being overseas Filipinos, providing an easy payment system has been a priority forITPI, Leviste adds.
ITPI has established itself as a developer that offers beautifully-designed properties that help reduce the impact on the environment. Its flagship project is Primavera Residences, a condominium development in Cagayan de Oro which will be awarded a winner in the 2014 Asia Pacific Property Awards in Kuala Lumpur this May.
