Samsung launches digital X-ray in Phl

MANILA, Philippines - Samsung Healthcare is now in the Philippines. The South Korean electronics giant recently joined forces with Nexhealth Inc., to bring its expertise in innovation and quality to the Philippine healthcare industry.

Last Feb. 20, Samsung Healthcare was officially revealed to the Philippine market during the 66th Philippine College of Radiology (PCR) Convention held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

It was during the PCR that Nexhealth Inc. unveiled for the first time Samsung’s XGEO line of Digital X-ray Products, which delivers high-quality DR performance coupled with a simplified workflow that maximizes user experience through intuitive design – a signature feature of Samsung products.

The XGEO GF50, Samsung’s latest best value model, was proudly presented and demonstrated up close to the Philippine radiologists.

The unit is designed to fit in tight spaces and provide high quality imaging while reducing diagnosis time through its fast and efficient design.

Samsung’s digital X-ray line-up uses the company’s own next generation DR detectors, designed to have the highest possible image quality at the lowest radiation dose to the patient – going a step further towards improving patient care.

The most anticipated annual event in the radiology field, the PCR Convention is attended by the country’s top radiologists and healthcare practitioners.
