MANILA, Philippines - The peso continued its decline midday Wednesday, hitting 45.286 against the dollar, weaker than its 45.25 close on Tuesday.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $579.4 million as of Wednesday afternoon, higher than the $413 million posted the other day.
The peso opened at a weaker 45.35 on Wednesday.
