MANILA, Philippines - The peso slid to 44.701 against the greenback midday Tuesday, weaker than the 44.605 posted the previous day.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $413.6 million as of 12:15 p.m., higher than the $367.3 million posted during the same period yesterday.
The peso opened at 44.66 on Tuesday, weaker than the 44.605 posted on Monday.
