PBEST launched tomorrow at AIM

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Business for Environmental Stewardhsip (PBEST) together with its partners and network from the academe, business sector, professional groups, civil society and government will hold its public launch on Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the FPH Lecture Room, Asian Institute of Management, Eugenio Lopez Foundation Building, Joseph R. McMicking Campus, 123 Paseo de Roxas Makati City.                     

Among the speakers in the event are Senate Majority Leader Allan Peter Cayetano, House Committee on Ecology chairman Amado Bagatsing, Tony Lopa of PCCI and Philippines Inc., Prof. Dindo Manhit and Carlos Primo “CP” David, Phd.

Also showing his support during the event is business leader Manuel V. Pangilinan.

PBEST was organized by a network of policy experts trained at the University of the Philippines (UP), De La Salle University (DLSU) and Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) to actively participate in developmental policy reforms and advocacies that promote effective regulation of Philippine industries as a way to ensure a more responsible stewardship of the environment that will benefit all stakeholders.

This will be a rare gathering of high profile personalities rallying together to develop and responsibly manage the environment for sustainable economic growth and equitable intergenerational benefit.
