MANILA, Philippines - The World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) is staging a series of market briefing seminars on selected countries to provide the Philippine business sector a platform for development, promotion and expansion of trade and investment interests there with.
Dubbed “Markets of the World (MOW)â€, the pilot edition of the market briefing series will start Sept. 17 at the newly installed World Trade Center Metro Manila Function Room.
It will initially feature Japan, Malaysia, Germany, Guam, Canada, United Kingdom, South Korea And Australia.
Distinguished high-profile resource persons will present their respective countries’ policies and developments on trade, investment and tourism, and opportunities therein. The will also cover sector -specific investment and trade opportunities.
An additional feature of the maiden MOW is the participation of a trade & investment mission from Winnipeg, Canada organized by the World Trade Center Winnipeg, a counterpart WTC of the World Trade Center Metro Manila. The inclusion of the inbound mission from Winnipeg in the MOW provides the seminar participants a better opportunity to improve their international network to generate leads, business and investment especially in Canada.
The pilot edition of the MOW is also in cooperation with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Manila, the Malaysia External Trade Development Corp. (MATRADE) Manila, German Embassy Manila Commercial Section, German-Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Manila, the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs – Office of the Undersecretary for International Economic Relations, United Kingdom Trade & Investment (UKTI) Philippines, and the Australian Trade Commission (AUSTRADE) Manila.
