MANILA, Philippines - Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is set to open a new dealership in the province of Camarines Sur in line with its expansion plans.
The new dealership will be located along San Jose, National Highway, Pili.
Operations of the new dealership will start within the second-half of the year.
“With this partnership, Honda is pleased to offer easier access to the full model line-up of products, competent service technicians, well-trained sales associates and accommodating customer relations officers present in all other Honda dealerships to the Bicolanos,†HCPI said.
Last week, the firm announced it is opening its fifth dealership in the Visayas which will be located in Tacloban in the province of Leyte.
It also said it has plans to expand to other areas.
The firm is currently checking the viability of prospect areas.
To date, HCPI has 28 dealerships.
HCPI accounts for the third biggest share of the total sales of local vehicle assemblers.
According to the latest report of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc., HCPI sold 1,372 units in January, compared to the 82 units sold in the same month last year.
Last year, HCPI’s sales reached a total of 12,653 units.
Honda vehicles being sold by HCPI are the City, Jazz, Civic, Accord, CR-V, Odyssey and Pilot.
