RLI unveils largest lifestyle dev’t in Ortigas

MANILA, Philippines - Robinsons Land Corp. unveiled yesterday its biggest lifestyle block development in the Ortigas central business district which will showcase art deco architecture as it aims to bring back the glory days of Manila.

The Sapphire Bloc, which will rise on an 8,400-square meter property at the intersection of Ortigas Center’s Sapphire, Garnet and Onyx streets, will feature four residential towers and a 2,000-sqm. retail area, offering exceptional gourmet restaurants, dessert bars and coffee shops.

During the project’s launch yesterday, RLC vice-president for sales and marketing May Precilla said they have expanded the project from 5,000 sqm to capitalize on the strong demand for residential and commercial projects in Ortigas.

“Originally, we were looking at just two buildings so when there was an opportunity for us to acquire more properties adjacent to the project, we jumped at it.  We are very bullish about Ortigas and we’re confident this project will continue to sell”, she said.

Precilla said the first two residential buildings, North and West Towers, will have a total of 890 units with sizes ranging from 30 sqm to 97 sqm.

The 38-story North Tower, which will house 408 units, is slated for turnover to buyers by 2016.  The three other towers will be taller and will offer more units. Expected sales from the first tower is P1.6 billion.

Units will be sold at P110,000 per sqm.  A one-bedroom unit will sell for P3 million to P4.6 million each while the two bedroom units with sizes ranging from 45.5 sqm to 60 sqm, are priced at P5 million to P6.74 million.

Three-bedroom units, all with a standard size of 97 square meters, will sell for P10.59 million to P10.77 million.

The project will be developed under the Robinsons Residences brand and designed by one of the country’s top architects, W.V. Coscoluella and Associates.

Apart from being a great investment, The Sapphire Bloc offers great perks. A virtual concierge has been set-up to aid you in everyday task such as housekeeping, laundry, and even delivery needs. A qualified resident is given an RLC lifestyle card that provides access to loyalty entitlement and privilege discounts.
