Education law discussed

MANILA, Philippines - The Center for Global Best Practices will hold a seminar on “Legal and Labor Issues in Education Law,” Oct. 16 and 17, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City. This program will feature Ulpiano “Ulan” Planes Sarmiento III who is the author of the two books Education Law and the Private Schools: A Practical Guide for Educational Leaders and Policymakers; and Compendium of Education Legislation for Private Basic Education. Sarmiento is currently the dean of San Beda College of Law in Alabang and a regular member of the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (Department of Education).
