Madrid, Spain – Zed, a global leader in the creation and distribution of content and digital multiplatform entertainment, closed 2010 as the most successful year for its Mobile Intelligence Solutions business line. The company has launched 29 promos in 18 countries and four continents, generating a total of approximately 100 million messages, which has doubled the number of successful campaigns based on Mobile Intelligence in 2010, reaching the same results figures accumulated throughout the last four years since the activity began.
At present, the Mobile Intelligence business line offers a wide portfolio of promotions and services worldwide, including MegaPromos, Trivia Challenge Contests, Quiz Clubs and Loyalty programs to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Media Groups, Consumer Brands and IP rights owners worldwide. Special differential element and added value of Mobile Intelligence products consist in reliable CRM that permits increasing the ARPU (average revenue per user). This converts Zed into a reference partner that can provide turnkey solutions to any client seeking to adapt CRM for his business and achieve growth by means of mobile or Internet.
2010 has been a highly successful year also in terms of the opening of new business opportunities due to new commercial agreements reached with 11 operators and six TV channels. For the first time, Zed launched campaigns in Ecuador, Argentina, South Africa, India and Poland and successfully entered difficult penetration markets such as Finland, Austria and Germany where game mechanics needed to be adapted to local regulation.
Furthermore, the Spanish multinational has expanded its Mobile Intelligence Solutions collaborating with TV channels, such as RCN in Colombia and Telefé in Argentina, reaching 1.5 million of players with each of them, as well as with Polsat in Poland and SABC in South Africa. These campaigns combine Mobile Intelligence Solutions with multiplatform television formats developed by Zed TV.
“We are very pleased with the results we have obtained over the past year. Our progression in the sector has been strengthened through the renewal of agreements for countries we have already been present in, as well as through the opening of new markets difficult to access, where Zed has adapted its business model to local regulation. Mobile still is one of the platforms on the market that counts with great potential, and in that respect Zed has much expertise to offer,” said Borja Gutierrez, sales director of Zed.
