This 1.5-day event will be held at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City on March 17 and 18.
In this special seminar, expert practitioners will teach you how to succeed in your PPP deals by learning how to package feasibility studies, craft the right terms of reference in your bid documents, pursue unsolicited proposals the right way, formulate technical bids, compute financial bids, prepare for bidding and negotiations, learn the auditing rules and monitor project implementation.
Participants in this special event will be provided with very usual model PPP contract templates that can save you money from having to pay expensive consulting fees to lawyers and consultants. There will be a lot of sharing and presentation of best practices tips, techniques, valuable insights, and guide to avoiding costly pitfalls and traps when doing your BOT and JV projects deals.
This MCLE-accredited program will greatly benefit stakeholders from the private and government sectors including government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), national government agencies (NGAs), and local government agencies (LGUs). This is a must attend event especially for those who are seriously planning and participating in PPP deals.
This one-time event will feature Alberto C. Agra, secretary of justice until June 2010. He also held various positions in government as solicitor general and government corporate counsel. He is a strong advocate of PPP, professor of laws (1993 to present), and co-author of newly released book entitled, Knowing BOT and JV.
He currently heads Forensic Law and Policy Strategies Inc. and Forensic Solutions, a think tank offering services in the fields of policy, law reform, advocacy and governance. He serves as a course director for this program.
Other speakers and resource persons who are experts on PPP and representatives of the public and private sectors involved in PPP/BOT/JV projects shall be included in the lecture presentations.
