MANILA, Philippines - China Banking Corp. (China Bank) continues to expand its reach, recently opening China Bank Paseo de Sta. Rosa Branch, its 249th branch nationwide and 5th branch in Laguna.
Combined with the branches of ChinaBank Savings, China Bank’s savings bank arm, the total branch network now stands at 261-strong. This vast branch network is complemented by 417 China Bank and ChinaBank Savings ATMs. China Bank Paseo de Sta. Rosa Branch, headed by Mandrake Medina, is located at Unit 3, Paseo 5 in Paseo de Sta. Rosa City, the 3rd largest complex in Laguna.
The new full service branch offers a wide array of banking products and services and is equipped with modern facilities, an ATM, and a night depository unit for 24/7 banking convenience. It is open from Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
China Bank, the country’s first privately-owned commercial bank, recently celebrated its 90th anniversary. Since the launch of its expansion plan in 2005, the Bank nearly doubled its branch network size.
China Bank is set to open more branches this year and the next two years to reach its goal of 400 branches by 2014.
