Experts to address AFFI 2010

MANILA, Philippines - Home-grown franchisers have lined up a distinguished list of experts who will impart to start-up entrepreneurs the finer points of franchising during the 9th Filipino Franchise Show 2010 slated Sept. 16-19 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Heading the list of resource experts is Armando “Butz” O. Bartolome, widely acknowledged and recognized as the Philippine franchising guru and the brain behind the success of most Association of Filipino Franchisers, Inc. (AFFI) members.

He will speak on vital topics including the basics of franchising, successful ways to invest in a franchise, responsible and pseudo-franchising, success and failures- how and why, and franchise opportunities.

Bartolome is president and chief executive officer of GMB Franchise Developers and the founder of Franchise Institute of the Philippines (FIP). He has nearly 30 years of experience in assisting various entrepreneurs in developing effective franchise programs.

Othe speakers are Manny Aligada of Globe Business; Ramon Lopez of PCE-Go-Negosyo; Dante Francis Ang II and Anna Periquet of the Manila Times; Jose Teodoro Limcauco of BPI Savings Bank; Pocholo Gonzales of Creative Voices Production; Pia Nazareno- Acevedo of Creative Resources Group.

AFFI president Paulo M. Tibig said the four-day franchise show is the biggest and grandest ever, with over 25,000 individuals expected to visit the about 400 exhibition booths and more than 120 original and unique business concepts.
