Franchise guru sets seminar

MANILA, Philippines - The Franchise Institute Of The Philippines (FIP) will hold a seminar on franchising on April 17, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Mang Inasal, Makati Ave., corner Jupitar St. in Makati.

The seminar themed “Approach Franchising With Confidence” will be conducted by franchise guru Armando “Butz” O. Bartolome of GMB Franchise Developers who has nearly 30 years of experience in assisting various entrepreneurs in developing an effective franchise programs.

Bartolome is a strong advocate of responsible franchising. In similar seminars he handled, he has often spoken of “Tips and Traps in Franchise Development” to warn aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly overseas Filipino workers against fly-by-night franchisors who are out to gyp unwitting individuals of their hard-earned money.

“With franchising becoming a boom industry and as Filipinos seek out new opportunities to survive the crisis, it is a must that the public is well-informed on the nitty-gritty of the franchising world,” Bartolome stressed.
