Isuzu Gencars still No. 1

Isuzu Gencars has identified customer satisfaction as the key ingredient in the company’s firm foothold as the No. 1 Isuzu vehicle distribution company in the country.

This was stressed by Isuzu Gencars president D. Edgard Cabangon who put into place innovative changes in the running of the company when he assumed the presidency in 1995 vice his father Ambassador to Laos businessman Antonio Cabangon-Chua.

Cabangon, who skipped his law studies to devote his energy to Isuzu Gencars, is credited with the top sales of Isuzu vehicles and superb after-sales service. Isuzu Gencars boasts of excellent and efficient quality service that has resulted in increased sales. It has a spanking showroom and a service bay that can accommodate up to 30 vehicles in its Makati head office.

Two other Isuzu Gencars partnership have been set up in Sto. Tomas, Batangas and San Pablo City in Laguna following the success of the head office which is located at the corner of Don Chino Roces Avenue and De La Rosa street in Makati.

Isuzu Gencars sees to it that customers get their money’s worth by getting the longest possible ride from their vehicle. This is what Isuzu Gencars Service Division constantly works at, he says. Simply known as Gencars, the service department opened in July 1994 at the Gencars Building and was refurbished in 1997. Its service bay is equipped with the most modern automotive servicing technology to meet all motoring needs. It houses two huge painting ovens and a wonder laser with television monitor for computerized wheel balancing.

Cabangon said that the company promotes a culture of excellence, especially with respect to the maintenance and service of vehicles. The service personnel’s skills are updated always, he added.

Proof of Isuzu Gencars service excellence was its award as the most Outstanding Five Star Car Repair Shop in the country by the Consumer Union of the Philippines.
