Regus, a UK-based firm operating 23 business centers in nine Asia Pacific countries, helps companies control cost by offering them flexible, instant world-class office solutions tailored to their individual needs.
Marc Townsend, Regus general manager, said the firm is set to open a new business center on the 18th floor of the Philamlife Tower in Makati City in October this year.
The firm set up its first business center in 1999 at the Enterprise Center where it now occupies two floors or a total of 2,025 square meters.
Its occupancy rate is between 96 percent to 100 percent.
According to Townsend, Regus has already invested about $3 million or P150 million for its new business center.
Among some of its clients which have leased office space at the Enterprise Center are Microsoft, Nokia and Zed.
Townsend said Regus currently provides the best broadband service in the country ensuring high speed Internet connection.
Townsend said with the "present global economic condition, many companies are unsure of their future."
Regus, he said provides clients with a complete office infrastructure that allows them to walk in, sit down and begin work, without the hassle of creating a business start up.
Townsend also said that by asking the help of a serviced office provider, it eliminates the cost and time spent in searching for an office, shifting, selecting and training office staff, purchasing office equipment, renovation and unutilized space. Marianne Go
