Krone has secured its first Asia-Pacific site for TrueNet, its revolutionary structured cabling system. Global financial and business information provider Bridge Information Systems has selected Krone's new technology for its expanding operation in Hong Kong.
Krone's TrueNet cabling system will transform Bridge's existing corporate local area network into a broadband-enabled superhighway.
TrueNet, the world's first results-oriented cabling system, effectively prevents throughput loss in local area networks and protects the total efficiency of the networks.
"In the financial information arena, real-time delivery is key in providing the quality service that our customers demand," said Fergus Ho, vice president for client service of Asia Bridge Information Systems.
"By guaranteeing zero bit error rate on the TrueNet system, Krone ensures that we will get the fastest possible data transfer speeds across our network. In addition, TrueNet gives us ample headroom to handle the increasing demand for real-time delivery of bandwidth-hungry multimedia."
Working with local systems installer Best View Technology Engineering Ltd., Krone began the project last November. Krone's ability to work efficiently as a service organization was a significant factor in its winning the deal.
"As our business has expanded, we have negotiated additional office space in our current location. Thus, we needed to upgrade our existing structured cabling infrastructure and extend it into the new office space," said Ho. "Krone worked in close partnership with us to ensure that our objectives were met, by our deadlines."
Krone beat competitors to win the project because of TrueNet's five-year throughput warranty, which guarantees zero bit error rate performance over the structured cabling channel.
The structure cabling system also comes with a 20-year all-inclusive industry standards compliance guarantee.
