Kalidad ng hangin sa MM, bumuti na - DENR

MANILA, Philippines — Kasunod ng ‘haze’ mula Indonesia Iniulat ng  Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)  na bumuti na ang kalidad ng hangin sa  Metro Manila  makaraang makapagtala ng “very unhealthy” levels  sa mga nagdaang araw sa Kalakhang Maynila dulot ng haze mula sa Indonesia at mga pollution sources sa bansa.

Ang pahayag ay ginawa ng DENR nang makapagtala alas-6 ng ­umaga nitong Oktubre 2, na nagkaroon ng “unhealthy” ang air quality sa Las Pinas at Parañaque City habang ang 18 monitoring stations ay nagtala ng  “fair” o “good” air quality sa ibang lugar sa Metro Manila.

Sinabi ni Jundi Del Socorro, hepe ng  Environmental Quality Management Division ng DENR-Environmental Management Bureau (EMB), nitong September 30, nakapagtala ng “very unhealthy” PM2.5 ­levels ng air quality ang Las Piñas, Parañaque, Muntinlupa, Caloocan at Taguig  pero bumubuti na simula kahapon.

Ang Haze sa Indonesia ay nakaapekto sa Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON at MIMAROPA.
