CEBU, Philippines — A 34-year-old call center agent was arrested by police in the City of Naga, Cebu after his wife accused him of hitting her with a helmet during an attack in Barangay South Poblacion.

The suspect, identified by the alias “Cleahn,” was arrested by the Tracker Team of the City of Naga Police Station at around 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, on a warrant of arrest issued in connection with a case filed against him.

The warrant, dated August 19, 2026, was issued over an alleged violation of Section 5(i) of Republic Act No. 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act. The case carries a recommended bail of P72,000.

According to the case records, the incident took place on the evening of May 13, 2026, in the same barangay.

The police report did not state what triggered the argument between the couple or what exactly happened before the incident.

More than three months later, police located and arrested him through the warrant of arrest on August 20.
